Having spent some of my time teaching art as Artist in Residence and now as a provider for workshops for children with Artspiration when I can, I wondered how my expression changes when teaching and so decided to set my self the challenge of capturing that particular look when a child has deliberately misbehaved.  I used a mirror, set at a lower tilted angle and painted from life.  Now I know how expression gives that look of disapproval and why the children that I teach in my spare time react in such a way!
